All about FaceBook Marketing with retargeting

Retargeting and remarketing effectively share the same goal of closing sales using warm leads. The major difference is the delivery of ad delivery. Remarketing usually uses email to contact warm leads, whereas retargeting uses ads such as Facebook to reach warm leads. Retargeting tends to outperform remarketing, as users are more receptive to Facebook ads than undesired emails. Contact Facebook Support for Problem | Get in Touch with Facebook Support in 3 M
Hi Rob, thanks for the advice. I have been playing around with Facebook ads for around 6 months now and despite the fact that I get some good traffic at reasonable prices I am still getting a high bounce rate and a relatively low conversion rate. I think part of the issue may be that I have not optimized for mobile/desktop so I will take your advice and put a bit more focus on making the ads work better for different technology.
By showing the same Facebook retargeting ads for weeks you risk boring and even annoying your visitors; it’s known as ad fatigue. As a result, people can start to actively hide or even block your ads. Facebook takes that as a sign of low-quality and irrelevant content and raises your cost of reaching people. On the other hand, by sending your visitors through an ever-changing campaign, they won’t get irritated at your Facebook retargeting efforts and you won’t overpay for your Facebook retargeting campaigns.
Customers seldom go to a website and purchase after their first visit. It’s even more rare for a customer to convert after clicking on just one ad, especially if they’re unfamiliar with your brand or your price point is relatively high. In most cases, there’s a long journey to get customers to convert and Facebook is uniquely positioned to handle the buyer’s journey along each step in a way that other channels can’t.
I honestly feel there’s still a place for some ads, but they have to be more relevant and valuable to the consumer. This is why we see more money going to content marketing, influencer marketing, referral partnerships, and other methods that are designed to deliver actual value to audiences. This shift isn’t going to stop until ads start being more valuable for the consumer. How to Use Facebook Ads for Beginners (2019) - A Complete Facebook Ads Tutorial
Start with a brand awareness ad that’s simply meant to introduce you to your audience. Sure, some may click and convert immediately, but there’s a good chance many won’t. That’s ok though- you can run a retargeting campaign that shows your ad to users who saved or engaged with your previous ad. At this point, you can focus on conversions or lead generation a little more heavily.

For example, if you’re selling high-class luxury products, your audience may rather opt into your email newsletter for exclusive news and something only they as members (read: email subscribers) can get. On the other hand, if your audience is more price-sensitive, promising special discounts and other deals in your email newsletters may be a more appealing ad for them.
However, businesses that aren’t online-based, but have multi-page or content-rich websites that would find user data insightful, should also use retargeting. For example, a winery has two main types of consumers: those interested in tours and tasting and those interesting in hiring their venue for private events. The winery could use retargeting to segment site visitors by their interest, and then display ads specific to each of those user’s interests. 2019 Facebook Business Page Tutorial (For Beginners) Step by step
If a prospect has downloaded the white paper but hasn’t requested a demo, then you would want to advertise the demo. If they’ve seen the demo and haven’t signed up for a free trial, then that’s the message to send them next. Similar to establishing audiences based on the Time Lag report, create separate custom audiences and align the messaging with the way people have already interacted with your site and your brand.

I’m a big fan of The Office, and I’ve seen each episode at least a half-dozen times. There’s a lot of great scenes, but one that always sticks out to me is the scene where Michael is trying to prove how much business knowledge he has, and Ryan asks him whether it’s cheaper to sign a new customer or keep an existing client relationship ongoing. Michael immediately answers a new client, but the answer is the opposite. Facebook Stock Vs Google Stock! Which Stock Is A Better Buy?

Video can be a very effective tool for gaining trust and credibility with your customers. In many cases, consumers are more comfortable making a purchase decision if they’ve been able to view a video about the product or service beforehand. In the past, there weren’t as many opportunities for consumers to see videos, due to low Internet connection speeds, but now, the video marketing possibilities have increased drastically, especially for mobile viewers. Technology has evolved tremendously over the last several years. Recently, my 4-year-old daughter picked up my old Timex watch. After playing with it for a few minutes, she discovered that the face of the watch lit up when she pushed a button on the side. She grew excited and told the watch: “Call Grandma Hall!” Needless to say, my mother’s face did not appear on my aged Timex, which disappointed her greatly. You can watch the video here.
