All about FaceBook Marketing with retargeting

Upload your vehicle catalog with details such as make, model and year, then automatically generate ads that show the most compelling inventory to the right audiences. Use automotive inventory ads to direct people toward vehicle detail pages, lead submission forms or other valuable places—and continually show your most relevant vehicles to potential auto buyers. An example of this is B2B products. You might draw prospects to your site with a white paper they can download, and then offer a demo. Following a demo, you can schedule a free trial and so forth. As you break down and look at the sales funnel, you get a sense of what the audiences need at each individual point of conversion along this multi-step process. Each audience will have different needs at each point and you want to be able to speak to them differently. Facebook Marketing: CREATING HIGHLY ENGAGING POSTS on FB
Social media generally is a vast space to market in. Even more so with Facebook. There’s no shortage of metrics you can use to target the best prospects. Location and gender are just two of the ways you can narrow down your target market. Facebook also allows you to find the folks who didn’t like your page through Detailed Targeting. The choices are endless.
Facebook retargeting ads display solely to an audience that has previously visited (and taken certain actions on) your website. To do this, advertisers install the Facebook Pixel, a free, short piece of code advertisers install on their side to track these visitors. It links your site visitors to your Facebook Ads Manager account, allowing you to create Facebook marketing campaigns that target your recent site visitors with Facebook ads.
Whether someone is ready to book a trip or is just looking for travel inspiration, match their intent with items from your travel catalog. If they were browsing hotels but didn’t make a reservation—or if they were looking at flights but didn’t book a trip—travel ads let you show them relevant ads based on their specific dates, destinations and other trip details.
We have already been talking about how Facebook marketing can be an innovative way of taking your business on the global platform. Every year, Facebook marketing strategies change for the benefit of eCommerce marketers. Facebook wants to be your one-stop shop for news, products, and updates from your friends. With the world changing a mile a minute, it’s hard to scale, differentiate yourself, and maintain trust in the ever-changing marketing world. It is better for the eCommerce marketers to stay updated with the Facebook marketing trends for the coming year. The more you plan ahead, the better equipped you feel to manage those changes when they happen. Create a Simple Facebook App (part 1 of 2)
There’s far greater complexity to people’s buying habits and actions beyond the fact they’ve visited a website within the last month. Susan recommends studying the buying and lead acquisition patterns for your brand. If you find that most of your customers tend to convert within a few days of visiting your website, then you would be paying for 30 days worth of Facebook impressions that are no longer relevant.
Recently Facebook release retargeting features to allow users set up Facebook retargeting, or remarketing as some people call it. In the past, you could only set up Facebook retargeting through larger advertisers. As a result, there’s not a lot of information out for a small business to set up retargeting on Facebook themselves. In this post I’ll show you step by step how to set up Facebook retargeting.

When someone visits your website and takes an action (for example, buying something), the Facebook pixel is triggered and reports this action. This way, you'll know when a customer took an action after seeing your Facebook ad. You'll also be able to reach this customer again by using a custom audience. When more and more conversions happen on your website, Facebook gets better at delivering your ads to people who are more likely to take certain actions. This is called conversion optimization.

Facebook can be an instant source of traffic to your website.  It can be an immediate source of leads for your business with verified contact information like name email address and phone number. It can allow you to 'retarget' and re-engage with your visitors (and soon-to-be buyers) who have abandoned your website, shopping cart, sales funnel, or anywhere else you are engaging with your audience. Why your Facebook ads are not working

Advertisers can be savvy about using retargeting ads to generate repeat sales by advertising products similar to those that a customer has already purchased. Retargeting serves as a great way to cost-effectively use reminder advertising. Typically, previous customers are more likely to buy from you than someone who has never heard of you, so creating audiences of previous customers is a great way to generate ongoing sales. When you consider that less than 2% of average customers are ready to buy when they visit a site for the first time, you’ll begin to understand just how important retargeting really is. You’ll see how this feature can solve some very vexing problems, how it can impact your bottom line, and you’ll learn how to implement your own retargeting campaigns. How to Grow Your Audience FAST
The tricky part with Facebook is that it only lets you operate within predefined targeting options. You can, for example, target people who have visited your website within a defined period of time (the last 7 days, 30 days, etc.), however, there’s still no option to target repeat visitors who have been to your website several times but haven’t finished their purchase yet.

If they were browsing hotels but didn’t make a reservation—or if they were looking at flights but didn’t book a trip—travel ads let you show them relevant ads based on their specific dates, destinations and other trip details.

If you have access to your website's code, you can add the Facebook pixel yourself. Simply place the Facebook pixel base code (what you see when you create your pixel) on all pages of your website. Then add standard events to the pixel code on the special pages of your website, such as your add-to-cart page or your purchase page. For full step-by-step instructions on adding the Facebook pixel to your site, visit the Help Center.

If you’re the creator of a Facebook group, you’re automatically its admin, or administrator. Additionally, you can be added as an admin of someone else’s group. After you have members in your group, you can use the group member list to remove (and even permanently ban) undesirable members, promote your most trusted members to administrators, or demote your existing administrators (if any) back to regular members.

For example, a ski and bike company should group users by the main product types the business offers, such as skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, and road cyclists. A customer who previously purchased a road bike would be a good candidate for a promotion on new clipless road bike pedals, whereas the customer who rented a mountain bike won’t likely be interested in road biking gear.

This is a very good question. From my experience, it doesn’t matter what industry you are in, or how much marketing budget you have. I would always suggest that if it’s the first time running the ad – Budget $5-10 a day(estimated average daily reach of 540-2,700 people) and run the ad for 7 days. This will give you feedback on how the ad is converting, and how it’s resonating with your audience.

For many customers, this is quickly becoming their preferred method of communication, since they no longer have to deal with the awkwardness of cold calls. It also allows customers to interact on the go, using their mobile device apps or a desktop device by visiting www.messenger.com. These tools also allow you to communicate with your clients in richer and more meaningful ways.
Facebook retargeting may be geared towards capturing those who have already visited your site, but this doesn’t mean you can’t still use the retargeting information to build brand awareness by reaching those who haven’t yet heard of you. Advertisers can create “lookalike” audiences based on the data from the Facebook Pixel to create ads geared towards new customers who match the profile of present customers. Simply put, everybody else had gone digital, and this company saw an opportunity to do something different. Now, I’m not advocating that businesses should try to resurrect print marketing or do something only because it’s uncommon and not because it resonates with their audiences. But they should consider integrated campaigns and creative distribution tactics that focus on ways to engage audience members that their industry competitors might not be considering.

Voice searching is an ingenious bit of technology. After all, who doesn’t like being able to simply say out loud to the nearest smart speaker, “Place an order for school supplies”? Not only does voice searching make it easier to find information online without pulling out a device; people love it because it reduces their screen time. Next year, make sure you’re optimized for voice searches. Rishtay Biktay Hain Episode 16 | 28th Oct 2019 | ARY Digital Drama

Hi Rob, thanks for the advice. I have been playing around with Facebook ads for around 6 months now and despite the fact that I get some good traffic at reasonable prices I am still getting a high bounce rate and a relatively low conversion rate. I think part of the issue may be that I have not optimized for mobile/desktop so I will take your advice and put a bit more focus on making the ads work better for different technology.

But there is a problem with Facebook's Friend Lists feature: Nobody uses it. According to CEO Mark Zuckerberg, just 5 percent of Facebook users had made a list as of October 2010. Now, this isn't a company that lets its technology stagnate—witness Facebook's recent push into e-mail with the Messages service, introduced as an apparent competitor with Gmail. After the failure of Lists, Facebook decided to start over and created Facebook Groups, a new friend-dividing feature that uses an opt-out strategy as a way of reaching widespread adoption. Your Facebook ad campaign’s success will largely depend on whom you’re targeting. That’s why you need to know about the different Facebook audiences available to you. There are Saved Audiences, Lookalike Audiences, Custom Audiences, and audiences created by people that have interacted with your page or content before. By the end of this chapter, you’ll know what are the best Facebook ad audiences and how to create them. We’ll also talk about the Facebook Pixel that you’re going need for tracking your website visitors.

You already know that video is imperative. It used to be one aspect of your marketing strategy, but now you need an entire strategy just for your videos! People watch countless hours of video every day, and YouTube is the largest search engine after its sibling Google. For example, through Google Analytics, a restaurant discovered that a large percent of users who clicked on their lunch ad ended up using their online reservation system to make dinner reservations. They had not expected to get dinner reservations from those searching for lunch spots, but, given this, they designed better website flows between web pages, leading to more reservations, and they also started offering lunch reservations.
At each of my last three keynote addresses, I was asked this simple question: “What do you think is going to happen with marketing next year?” There are a lot of marketing speakers and sales speakers already shouting out the trends for 2019. To track the actions you need to integrate them within the pixel base code. For example, an ecommerce site that wants to track purchases will have to enter a code in the thank-you or final confirmation page that is loaded immediately after a successful purchase (see the example in the next image) in the thank you page (the final confirmation page).

Start with a brand awareness ad that’s simply meant to introduce you to your audience. Sure, some may click and convert immediately, but there’s a good chance many won’t. That’s ok though- you can run a retargeting campaign that shows your ad to users who saved or engaged with your previous ad. At this point, you can focus on conversions or lead generation a little more heavily. How to Create a Facebook Icon on the Desktop

$5-10 dollar a day is a feasible budget for most small or local business such a La Tana to get their feet wet in FB advertising. After you have gotten the right converting ad formula down, feel free to increase your budget an extra $5-10 dollars a day. Of course, the higher the budget, the greater your reach. I recently worked on a Facebook ad project for a supplement company. Their budget was  a whopping $100 per day(estimated daily reach of 8,000-21,000 people).

After you have installed the script onto your website, continue to the next step by clicking audience tab on the Facebook pop-up window. The next screen you come to will be a name that you will use when you’re setting up your marketing campaign in Facebook. So name your custom audience something that’s recognizable like “website audience” or whatever makes sense to you.
A computer sales and repair store is running a promotion on external hard drives and they want to use Facebook to advertise this sale. To avoid wasting ad spend, they target ads by user’s needs. Using the info from the Facebook Pixel, they create a custom audience of those who have recently visited the blog post on how to back up a computer. They then create an ad specific to those users, explaining the benefits of external hard drives and the current promotion.

However, people do not always like turning their mobile devices to the side. Instagram -- one of the most popular social media platforms at the moment -- launched IGTV in June for the express purpose of watching videos in vertical mode. IGTV allows longer content, so you could publish animated videos, demos, interviews, case studies, 360-degree virtual reality, live streams and more. Your social media strategy needs to keep vertical-form IGTV videos in mind.
Facebook retargeting lets advertisers discover and reach warm leads. Using the Facebook Pixel, advertisers track their site visitors and their actions to build audiences and better understand visitors. Campaigns are then designed to speak to the audience and display ads on those visitor’s Facebook pages, proving highly effective in that statistically warm leads convert best.
