I have recently gotten into a lot of FB groups about local barters, yard sales, online sales, etc. I found so many locally that I thought it would be useful to me and to others to maintain a public list of all of this type of FB groups in my area. It’s also useful because the more people know about groups, the more may participate, and the more things I may be able to buy (or have more people to sell stuff to via those groups). But I don’t know whether to have a GROUP or a PAGE. I set up both — see links at the end of this comment. GOALS: I don’t need a lot of dialog with the page’s followers, but I do want people to be able to send me info when there’s a new group to add to my list, and I do want my page’s posts to show up in their news feeds and/or their notifications (not sure which is better for me). Each ad has two components: The format (what it looks like) and the placement (where it will be displayed). When you’re creating your ad, you may need to find specific info about the type of ad you’re creating, like what size your image should be or how many characters you can use.

Frequency: Frequency is how often someone saw your ad. An ideal frequency should vary depending on the type of ad you ran. For example, you’d probably only want someone to see a promoted piece of content once. But it might take multiple views of a Page Like ad before someone takes an action. If any of your ads have a very high frequency but low performance, it may be time to retire the ad.

I did want to mention a recent test that I did where in addition to the call to action below, I placed a link in the text area above the image.  The result out of 5000 clicks? Only 5% of the clicks came from the link up top.  95% of the clicks came from the call to action below.  I believe that people are becoming conditioned to engage that section of an ad.
Some kinds of conversion tracking don’t require a tag. For example, to track phone calls from call extensions or call-only ads, you use a Google forwarding number to track when the call came from one of your ads, and to track details like call duration, call start and end time, and caller area code. Note that when you create assets within Business Manager, you won’t be taken through the standard setup wizard directly. For instance, to create a new page, you need to go to the Business Settings menu and click on Pages. Then click on the page you just created. Hi Anika, unfortunately you need to use a personal profile to message people or groups on Facebook. You could create a profile though as your business but the issue would be that people may use this to connect with you instead of your professional page! You can however definitely create an event via your business page and invite people to that, with no reference to your personal Facebook profile. Hope that helps!
Hi there! It is not letting me add a primary page under Business Settings- Business Information. Nor it lets me to add our own business page under Pages. It gives me an error that reads: “You can’t add this Page to your Business Manager account because it is the primary Page for another business. You can either request access to the Page, or you can work with the other business to change their primary Page, and then add this Page into your business.” It would be helpful to know what “other” business has our business as their primary page. Anyone have any idea how to contact FB support or is there an 800 number?
